Leanna’s House Reno Details

Brandon and I bought our house one month before the pandemic and lockdown started..right when we were due to start a huge renovation. What was supposed to be a team of contractors working to get our house done turned into a 2 person show…and it took quite longer than we expected. We were finally able to move in a few months later and even though it was tough…we are thrilled with it.
I regularly get DM’s about our paint, floors, decor, lighting etc from you guys so I wanted to break it all down for you here. For Before and Afters scroll down!
Floors
We got our hardwood floor from Stone Tile International. We chose the colour Latte from the Kafé collection. This floor gave the house such a light and airy vibe. We are obsessed.
Tile
We also got our kitchen and bathroom tile from Stone Tile International. The tile is called CALACATTA and it’s from their Bianco D’Italia collection. We did a satin finish instead of polished since we didn’t want the tiles to be slippery for Capri. In the master bathroom we did floor to ceiling tile.
Paint
The entire house was painted in Benjamin Moore Intense White. It’s a very light grey almost white colour. (In the swatch above it looks a bit darker than it does in real life). This colour was a perfect match with our hardwood floors. Further pushing the bright and airy vibe of the whole house.
Before and Afters with more product details are below!

The light fixture is the LED Hoop Chandelier from West Elm. It was pricy but it really makes the whole room, Our headboard is from Vant Panels. You can custom the size of the panels to the size of your bed. We chose the colour Moondust Grey.

Living Room Before and After
We are OBSESSED with our couch. So comfortable. Such a good buy. It’s modular so you can add as many pieces as you want for the area/space you need. Linked it HERE .
Den Before And After
Our light fixture is the West Elm Curvilinear Mid-Century Chandelier. Pricy but worth it. Really makes the space!
Stairs Before and After
The Carpet is from E Floors and we did all the stairs this way throughout the house.
The only room we didn’t touch besides lighting and flooring was the kitchen. This is another project we are going to tack at some point over the next year or so. The light is The Mobile Chandelier from West Elm.
The finishing touches were all the black hardware we did around the house. All the doorknobs, pantry knobs and little details were done in black. It gives the house a really modern feel.
——————-
At the end of the day, any type of reno is stressful as fuck in a pandemic or not. Ultimately the end result was so worth it but I am not looking to do anymore renovations anytime in the near future. Just glad to finally enjoy our new home!
